New Marvel Select Savage Hulk Action Figure

Marvel Select line now has a new Hulk action figure based on the character’s earliest appearance. The Marvel Select Savage Hulk wears the tattered outfit to his origin when Dr. Bruce Banner was caught in atomic blast. Sculpted by superstar Marvel Select sculptor Gabriel Marquez, who previously has designed other Marvel’s characters such as Thor and Magneto.  Savage Hulk figure stands approximately 9 3/4″ inches tall with 14 points of articulation. Marvel Select Savage Hulk will be available at Disneystore in July of 2015.

Hot Toys recently unveiled a 1/6th scale of Luke Skywalker in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope action figure. The action figure features 8 interchangeable hands, several attires, a training helmet, a droid caller, a blaster rifle, a long rifle, and a lightsaber. Hot Toys’ Luke Skywalker is expected to be available in the 2nd quarter of 2016.

Square Enix’s Batman: Arkham Knight – Play Art Kai series will be available this coming August, 2015.

“With mechanical armor and army fatigues, this figure shows off a wide range of different realistic textures. During sculpting we paid special attention to keeping a sharp silhouette all around. His helmet, that looks very similar to that of the BATMAN, has a translucent visor. There are two interchangeable helmet pieces: one to recreate his default appearance, and a second one painted so as to give off a glowing eye effect. Other accessories include: a sniper rifle, two handguns, and three interchangeable hands to allow for a variety of action poses.”

This variant of Batman – Play Art Kai is one of Square Enix’s most ambitious design, where the stylistic interpretation of DC Comics character mixed with Final Fantasy. Pre-0rder now at

Palitoy Star Wars Fetch Thousands of Dollars at Auction

The Vectis auction house in County Durham, UK, recently had bidders all of the world to get various Palitoy’s Star Wars action figures. A Princess Leia action figure fetched as much as US$ 5497 and a Chewbacca toy sold for US$ 6963. Another action figure, Greedo, the bounty hunter who was shot by Han Solo, was sold for US$ 5497. Greedo action figure was expected to only fetch no more than US$ 916. According to Vectis auction house, Palitoy’s Star Wars always fetched higher prices than the American made Kenner toys.

First Order Stormtrooper Action Figure

First look of the rumored Black Series First Order Stormtrooper surfaced on eBay from a seller who is known to get action figures earlier than anyone else. While the authenticity of the action figure cannot be confirmed, but it does appear to have the updated Stormtrooper helmet and armor for The Force Awakens. The term First Order is roughly 30 years after the fall of the Galactic Empire.

Last week, Hot Toys announced the second wave of Avengers: Age of Ultron Cosbaby figures with seven characters to join the line.

Step Into Yoda’ Swamp at Madame Tussauds London

Madam Tussauds, the world was museum, recently revealed its collection of Star Wars Experience. Visitors can hang out with Han Solo in the cantina, witness Luke Skywalker battles Darth Vader at The Death Star, join Chewbacca at the flight deck of the Millennium Falcon, step into Yoda’ swamp and many more.

The sets that span in two floors, are created in close collaboration between Madame Tussauds and Disney and Lucasfilm. Total 180 sculptors, hair artists and colorists have been working on the exhibit for 12 months, to make the set into reality.



Classic DC Robin Jumbo Figures

Gentle Giant is releasing a jumbo size classic DC Robin. Robin stands at 12″ tall in 1:6 scale. The action figure is based on the legendary 1992 Batman: the Animated Series. Every detail is meticulously re-created from the original figure, capturing perfectly the design aesthetic and tone of the series embodied in the Boy Wonder, right down to his black and yellow fabric cape! This jumbo Robin is expected to hit the shelf during 2nd quarter of 2016.

Pac-Man Anniversary

Today marks the 35th anniversary of Pac-Man’s introduction to arcades in Japan. Originally named Puck-Man by Namco, but it was changed to Pac-Man when it arrived in the US by October of 1980. It was changed to avoid vandalism to its arcade name. The success of the original Pac-Man arcade game led to the creation of more than 30 licensed game spin-off, a plethora of branded products, and a couple of animated TV series.
